What do you think of these Strawberry Brownie Santa Hats? I think they are adorable, and both my friends and kids agree! The best part…they are simple to make and delicious to eat. They are basically made with only 3 ingredients – brownies, icing and strawberries. Now you can always substitute your favourite homemade brownie mix and icing recipe for my store bought bite-sized brownies and prepared icing BUT that would make them a little more time consuming, and this momma doesn’t have a lot of time floating around  These Strawberry Brownie Santa Hats will be my first Christmas recipe this year so I’d like to start with a quick and easy one. Before we dive in, let me highlight my favourite aspects of this recipe…

1. They are SO very easy to make!

2. It’s a chocolate and strawberry combination…what’s not to love?

3.  They are freaking cute!  They are sure to finish your Christmas spread off nicely, trust me, people will love them.

Cute Strawberry Brownie Santa Hats

Ingredients:
–  1 pkg of bite-sized brownies (or your favourite brownie recipe)
– about 8 oz vanilla icing (homemade or store bought)
– strawberries

Intructions:

Step 1. Place the brownie on your serving tray. Using a piping bag, pipe some icing around the top of the brownie.

Step 2. Prepare your strawberries by cutting the leafy end off in a straight cut.

Step 3. Place the strawberry down on top of the icing on the brownie. Add a small dab of icing on the tip of the strawberry to complete ‘Santa’s hat’.
