Brownie in a Bottle – A Sweet Treat for Valentine’s and More
What could be sweeter than getting something sugary for Valentines Day? Brownies in a Bottle make an easy, fun treat for loved ones, friends, teachers and co-workers. Getting marries on the Day of Love? This little bottle makes a great favour for your guests. To assemble the bottles, all you do is mix the dry ingredients for the brownie recipe and layer them in a bottle. Add some ribbon and a tag with baking instructions. Then its ready, sweet and simple.
To prepare the bottle for gifting, layer the following ingredients into a 1 qt glass milk bottle or mason jar:
Packed brown sugar
Write the remaining ingredients and baking instructions on a tag and attach it to the bottle with some decorative twine or ribbon.
2/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla
Add a Valentine’s Day sticker to decorate the bottle and gift to friends and family to sweeten their day!

In a small bowl, combine flour and salt. In a 1-qt. glass milk bottle, layer flour mixture, brown sugar, sugar, cocoa, chocolate and caramel chips and pecans in this order.
To Prepare the brownies (write this on a tag and attach to the bottle)
Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, oil and vanilla. Add brownie mix; stir until blended.
Spread into a greased 9-in.-square baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean (be careful not to over bake).
